Downlaod Cyanogenmod 14.x (Android Nougat 7.x) custom rom for any devices

Hello guys… I’m back after long time in Android portal. So today m going to provide you the Cyanogenmod 14.x custom roms for almost all android devices. Cyanogenmod 14.x is based on Android Nougat 7.x .

We’re seeing unofficial ports of the CM14 popup for different devices here and there. Although you may have come looking for CM14, you’ll be glad to know if an AOSP ROM is available that gets you Nougat right away, right? That’s why we’re listing available AOSP ROMs too.
Most of these are so experimental that the device would boot up, but many necessary functions simply wouldn’t be available (looking at you, Galaxy Note!). Sure, the bugs will be quashed, issues resolved, and builds will be stable in due time, but till then, you need to be very, very cautious before installing the ROM.

How to downgrade back to iOS 9 if you don’t like iOS 10

You upgraded to the latest version of iOS, but now you need to revert back? Here are the instructions.

There are a lot of reasons as to why you want to revert back to iOS 9 after installing iOS 10. It’s not difficult to revert, but you need to do it sooner than later.

Each version of iOS is signed (approved) by Apple. When iOS updates are released, the previous version remains signed for a short period of time. Eventually, Apple stops signing the previous version, which prevents you from installing the old version.
Here’s how to revert back to iOS 9.

.ipsw file

First, you need to find a file called [iOS device].ipsw. If you are downgrading an iPhone, the file will have a name like, “iPhone8,2_9.3.5_13G36_Restore.ipsw”. Here’s how to find it.
  1. In the Finder, hold down the Option key and select Go > Library. (The Library folder is usually invisible in your Home folder. If you don’t hold down the Option key, the Library selection will not be available.)
  2. Open the iTunes folder.
  3. Look for a Software Updates folder that corresponds to your device. So for iPhone, look for iPhone Software Updates and open it.
  4. Look for a file called “[yourdevice]_9.3.5_[firmwarenumber]_Restore.ipsw” or something similar. This is the file that will allow you to revert back to iOS 9.
  5. Drag that file to the Desktop.
Don’t see such a file? Search the Internet for ipsw download. A few websites (such as IPSW Downloads) will have the old iOS software available. Download the appropriate .ipsw file (“[yourdevice]_9.3.5_[firmwarenumber]_Restore.ipsw”) and save it to your Desktop.

Install iOS 9

  1. Connect your iOS device to your Mac using the sync cable.
  2. Launch iTunes.
  3. Click on the device icon in the upper left.
  4. Click on the Summary tab in the left column.
  5. In the main window, click on the Restore iPhone button while holding down the Option key.
  6. You may get an alert that says you need to turn off Find My iPhone/iPad/iPod. You can do this on the device by going to the Setting apps and then iCloud > Find My iPhone/iPad/iPod. After that, repeat step 5.
  7. A navigation window appears. Navigate to the .ipsw file on your Desktop, select it, and click Open.
  8. You’ll be asked to confirm. Click the Restore button to continue.

It takes a few minutes for iTunes to do its job, and soon you’ll have an iOS device running iOS 9.

All gram panchayats will be Wi-Fi connected by Oct 2018

New Delhi, May 30 (IANS) All the gram panchayats will have the wi-fi connectivity by October 2018 under the Bharat Net programme, a senior government official said here on Monday.

“By October 2018, the plan is to finish coverage of all gram panchayats with wi-fi as the last mile solution,” Telecom Secretary J.S. Deepak said here at a round table conference on the topic ‘Data Connectivity for the next Billion’.
The conference was organized on the occasion of the annual general meeting of the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI).
The Bharat Net initiative is committed to take the optical fibre to each and every gram panchayat in next three years, Deepak said.
Under the programme, wi-fi will be delivered, with a viability finding kind of approach, to each and every citizen at the price of about Rs.100 per month, he said.
“In the first phase of the program, by March 2017, we will have 100,000 gram panchayats with 80-100 mbps connectivity with a last mile wi-fi, hotspot kind of end-user possibility to make data available to those who do not have access to it,” he said.

Scientists developed world’s tiniest light powered engine

A team of researchers at the University of Cambridge, UK, has developed a nanoscale engine — just a few billionths of a meter in size  which uses light to power itself.

Reversible assembly of light-powered nano-engines. pNIPAM – poly(N-isopropylacrylamide). Image credit: Tao Ding et al / University of Cambridge.

The prototype nano-engine is made of small charged particles of gold (Au), bound together with temperature-responsive polymers in the form of a gel.

When the engine is heated to a critical temperature (89.6 degrees Fahrenheit, or 32 degrees Celsius) with a laser, it stores large amounts of elastic energy in a fraction of a second, as the polymer coatings expel all the water from the gel and collapse.

This triggers a controllable number of gold nanoparticles to tightly bind in clusters.

But when the device is cooled, the polymers take on water and expand, and the gold nanoparticles are strongly and quickly pushed apart, like a spring.

“It’s like an explosion. We have hundreds of gold balls flying apart in a millionth of a second when water molecules inflate the polymers around them,” said team member Dr. Tao Ding, lead author on a paper published this week in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

“We know that light can heat up water to power steam engines,” added co-author Dr. Ventsislav Valev.

But now we can use light to power a piston engine at the nanoscale.”

According to the team, their nano-engines are also bio-compatible, cost-effective to manufacture, fast to respond, and energy efficient.

“Like real ants, they produce large forces for their weight,” said senior author Prof. Jeremy Baumberg.

“The challenge we now face is how to control that force for nano-machinery applications.”

United states of America nuclear weapons are still controlled by floppy disks

In the 21st century some reports found that nuclear weapons are still controlled by floppy disks. The US Government Accountability Office found that the defense department was still using 1970s-era computer systems.

The Pentagon coordinates US nuclear weapons using 8inch floppy disks #shocking
Floppy disks are replaced with CDs(Compact disk) in late 1990s as CD is having better storage capacity then floppy disk.
The report said:
“Agencies reported using several systems that have components that are, in some cases, at least 50 years old.
“Department of Defense uses eight-inch floppy disks in a legacy system that coordinates the operational functions of the nation’s nuclear forces.
“Department of the Treasury uses assembly language code – a computer language initially used in the 1950s and typically tied to the hardware for which it was developed.”

NEW FEATURE IN YOUTUBE SOON WILL SUPPORT 360-DEGREE VIDEOS

YouTube soon supports 360-degree videos in coming weeks.
According to reports Gizmodo, “Look out, YouTube fans. Soon, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in videos that go all the way around. Google has just confirmed to Gizmodo that it will be adding native support for 360-degree videos to its streaming video service,”
“Ever wanted to get 360 perspectives on a video to see everything going on? That’s why we’re working to support 360-degree videos in the coming weeks,” a YouTube spokesperson said to a publication
The release date is not yet announced but the feature will come “in the coming weeks”, according to a statement from  a Google spokesperson informed to Gizmodo.
The YouTube users must upload a video which support 360-degree by capturing with cameras like the Ricoh Theta, Kodak SP360, Giroptic 360cam, VSN V.360, Bublcam and more
However, it’s unclear whether the videos will be viewable for anyone using a computer, or if they will require a virtual reality headset to look around the scene.

      GETTING STARTED WITH KALI LINUX

This post is for so many of the people in the community asking for and having problems installing Kali Linux.
Here is a guide to getting started with Kali Linux. First of all, there are two ways to install and use Kali Linux, a complete installation, or in some Virtual Box like VMware or Virtual box. You can download VMware or Virtual Box by clicking on their respective names. I personally prefer Virtual Box because it has almost all the features of VMware and is a freeware (OMFG ITS FREE!). And download Kali from here.
There is only difference of a few steps; that will be added for Virtual Machine users. So, I’m just going to demonstrate for Virtual Box users.
Now a very important step, you have to enable visualization from your BIOS. This is different for all motherboards, so Google how to do it for your specific motherboard. Then just follow the screenshots below.
Now that you have Virtual Box and Kali Linux, it’s time to get things going. Open Virtual Box, it’ll look something like this, without the Virtual Machines at the left.

For creating a VM, click on “New”,

Name it whatever you want to, then click “Next”. You will be prompted to select the amount of RAM you want to reserve for your VM.

Now, it’ll ask for hard drive space allocation, just leave at the default option, “Next”!

      Here, select “VHD”, “Next”,

      Select “Dynamically Allocated”,

Here, select the desired size of the Virtual Hard disk,

You have successfully created a VM. Bye!

      Just kidding…. there’s still a lot.
Now, click on settings > storage > click on the cd image at the right hand corner, as shown. Now browse to your downloaded image. Click OK.

      It’s finally complete. Click start.

For normal (non-VM) users follow along from here. I will be explaining all the ways you can install and use Kali.
First one is “Live” this option does not save any changes to your Kali account… it’s like uninstalling Kali every time you shut down.
Then, there’s persistence, this one is exactly opposite to the former, this saves all your settings and data.
Now for the most important one for non VM users (at least I think so :3). A prefatory note – please make a bootable flash drive (more than 8gigs is recommended) with the Kali Linux .iso that you download; persistence and encrypted persistence will only work on flash drives.
For persistence, there are many ways to do this, I’m going to describe the Linux method.
Type “gparted /dev/sdb”, you will find “/dev/sdb1 /dev/sdb2” and “unallocated area” right click within the unallocated section, then select new from the drop-down menu that appears. Create a Primary Partition, choose “ext 4” as the file system, and label the partition with the word: “persistence “. Click on “Add” then “Apply” and let the computer format the partition in “ext 4” with the label persistence. When the process is completed open up a terminal window and enter the following:
      “mkdir -p /mnt/my_usb”
      “mount /dev/sdb3 /mnt/my_usb”
      “echo “/ union” > /mnt/my_usb/persistence.conf”
      “umount /dev/sdb3”
Reboot and start the machine with Kali and select “Live USB Persistence”.
For encrypted persistence, it’s a very long process… so… will do that in a later post.
Now the last one, install… it’s just as it sounds, it permanently installs kali Linux… this is for people who wish to use kali as their daily driver.

Now, that you have booted into kali, here are some useful things you could do starting up and some fixes for some common problems.
First, let’s update & upgrade our installation,
      Type “apt-get clean && apt-get update && apt-get upgrade –y”.
Another major problem I’ve noticed is the sound is always muted, to fix this, open a terminal window, type “apt-get install alsa-utils –y”, then right click on the small volume icon on the top right corner and select Sound Preferences, Change the Output volume slider to ON. Done!
Now, go do your own thing in Kali, explore, hack, test, crack hashes and burn the sh*t out of your CPU!! while I go be a genius billionaire playboy philanthropist. (yes I’m part time Iron Man) (Jarvis runs on UNIX, don’t you?… He says yes in a very rhetorical fashion).
